Where do you come to?
Anywhere within 90 minutes of Adelaide, home or work. For ceramic coating we travel up to 2.5 hours out. Jobs more than 60 minutes out have a travel fee, from $50 depending on the distance. Pop your postcode into the form to check.
How long does it take?
A detail takes about three hours. Paint correction takes 4 to 5 hours for single stage, or 5 to 6 hours for 2-stage, depending on the car. Ceramic coating adds about an hour on top of the correction.
How much does it cost?
Premium details start from $299, paint correction from $500 and ceramic coating packages from $950. Want something custom? Just tell us and we'll quote it. The final price depends on the size and condition of your car, and we confirm it before we start.
Do I need to supply water or power?
Yes, we just need access to a power point and a tap wherever the car is parked.
Paint correction
What is paint correction?
Machine polishing that takes a tiny layer off the top of the clear coat to remove swirl marks and haze, bringing the gloss back.
Does it remove scratches?
It's for swirls and dull paint, not deep scratches. If a scratch catches your fingernail, polishing won't take it out. We'll tell you straight when we see the car.
Ceramic coating
How long does it last?
5 years with the Essential package and 7 years with Premium, with a written warranty for the same length.
Do you polish first?
Yes, every time, and it's included in the price. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so we fix the paint first.
Does it stop scratches?
No coating makes paint scratch-proof. It helps with wash marks and protects against sun, sap and bird droppings.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, a written Prizm warranty for the length of your coating. To keep it valid, wash with pH-neutral products and microfibre, and avoid automatic or brush car washes. It covers passenger cars up to five years old when coated; commercial vehicles aren't covered. We email you a full care guide after your coating.
What do I do after it's coated?
Don't drive it for 24 hours, keep it completely dry for 48 hours, and don't wash it with soap or chemicals for the first 7 days while it cures. If it gets wet, gently dry it with a clean microfibre towel.
Booking
What happens after I ask for a price?
You'll get a text straight away confirming we've got it. Then one of us will call or text within 24 hours to go over a few details, give you a price and lock in a time.
Do you need a deposit?
For paint correction and ceramic coating, we take a 50% deposit to lock in your booking, and the other 50% when the job is done.
What if it rains?
If there's a garage or carport we can work under, rain isn't a problem. Otherwise we book coatings on dry days, and if the forecast turns we'll work out a new time with you.
